Buy Champagne in New York City NYC - Wall Street Wine Exchange and Astor Wine & Spirits have large selections. Both staffs are knowledgeable and very helpful. There's also a fairly cheap wine and spirits store located on Broadway around Astor Place. In Brooklyn, you can consider the Greene Grape (Fort Greene and downtown Manhattan) and Red, White & Bubbly (Park Slope). Scotto's Wine on Court Street in Carroll Gardens has an ok selection, but if you know what type of champagne that you'd like to purchase, they will order it for you and sometimes give you a 10% discount. If you want to consider sparkling wine, then Domaine Chandon, a California winery, produces some great sparkling wines as well.

New Champagne Growers Will Be Named in 2008 - The world's sparkling wine industry is at peace. Grapes grown within the narrowly defined Champagne region of France can only be used to make what can be called, "champagne." For while the grapes grown to create the bubbly champagne are merely common grapes: chardonnay, pinot noir and pinot meunier, the French authority that designates the region's farms assigns the cachet of the name "champagne". In order to meet global demands for increased champagne production the Authority will designate farmlands nearby the "official" region with the right to produce grapes for the production of champagne. July 2008 - James Bond wannabes can now spy on anyone and anything in your surroundings just by wearing a pair of mp4 sunglasses. Yes, they are pricey, but you can now purchase sunglasses with a video recorder embedded in the sunglasses frame. The lens is located just above the nose. The video records everything the wearer sees in 3gp format which can be converted into mp4 format then loaded up to youtube. Great for video bloggers!

July 2008 - Michael Jackson, the King of Pop, is teaming up with Ed Hardy designer Christian Audigier to launch a clothing line in the Fall of 2008. The clothing line will be sold at Kitson, the store of choice for the world's pop culture celebrities. Super red hot designer Christian Audigier is opening up another one of his stores in Las Vegas this summer and to increase his own mystique, he is opening a nightclub in Sin City at the Treasure Island Hotel. The club will be called, "The Nightclub" and will opening On July 4th and we would not be surprised if Michael Jackson re-emerges at the Opening Night party.

June 2008 - Ray Ban breaks new color ground next month when they release their first ever pastel colored Ray Bans. The pastel color Wayfarers are being launched in New York City by a promotion that features billboards designed by five NYC-based artists. The company plans to unveil the billboards on July 1st and promises that one of them will "stop traffic". Ray Ban is hoping for a big summer hit with this latest trend in Wayfarer color.
