You may wonder how exactly do sunglasses turn into graduation gifts?
Well by now you know that we think about fun things to do with sunglasses just about all day long . . .
and one day back in the year 2000, when everything was Y2K this and Y2K that, we saw a couple of cool year 2000 charms, then we found some sweet graduation cap and diploma charms at a neat store in New York City, and well, you guessed it, our first pair of graduation gifts as sunglasses was made. What a big hit since then! |

June 2008 - Danish-Icelandic weather artist Olafur Eliasson is about to unleash his outdoor art in New York City. Titled, "New York City Waterfalls" His $15 million initiative is to craft four waterfalls ranging from 90 to 120 feet in height that will appear from June 26 to Oct. 13 and run from 7AM to 10PM. In addition to the waterfall at Pier 35 (north of the Manhattan Bridge), there will be one in Brooklyn at the foot of the Brooklyn Bridge, another between Piers 4 and 5 near the Brooklyn Heights Promenade and a fourth on the north shore of Governors Island. The ambitious exhibit is organized by the nonprofit Public Art Fund and the city of New York, is the city's biggest public art project since "The Gates." Come out and see!
