Well, someone is happy their educational years are over! You can see to the left of the center of the photograph, one of the graduates designed their cap with the yin and yang symbols. We can't really read more than that on the cap, so we'll focus on the center of the photo. The speculation comes down to the events at the start and at the end of years 1974 and 2005. That is a span of 31 years. With some degree of certainty, we think the graduating year is 2005, so that leaves us with the question, what happened in 1974?

Does it mean the graduating student was born in 1974 or does it mean that the kid entered the school system in 1974? Hmm that's one we are not going to be abe to tell at all without knowing the student, which we don't.

We think that it's the years spent in school. We think the graduate entered kindergarten in 1974 and got his last degree in 2005, a span of 31 years of schooling! So that leads you to think, what kind of profession requires that much school? Well, medical school, if you went straight through from kindergarten takes 21 years and that is the most education-heavy profession in the world? So what could the 31 years reference?

Well, the reality is that few people are able to get advanced degrees straight through consecutively and continuously. People take breaks to work, raise a family, make money and otherwise engage in life. So our best guess is that this man entered the education system at the age of 5 and finally got his last degree completed 31 years later, at the age of 36!
