This is one of the many stone bridges located throughout New York City's Central Park. This particular one is located near the West 72nd Street entrance to the park. In the foreground is a part of the bridle path that snakes throughout the park. In 2007, bowing to increased rent pressure, the last horse stable in Manhattan had to shut its doors. As a result, there is a lot less horse traffic on the bridle paths now than at any other time in the park's history. Visitor's may still ride on the trails, but they must bring their own horses in and move along to find parking for their trailers, no easy task in NYC.

Fun Stuff from our magazine!		Cocktails Near Central Park in New York City - Right inside of Central Park is the restaurant/bar alongside the lake known as The Boathouse. It is a lovely and extremely popular spot for lunch, dinner, brunch and a cocktail. You may have just a drink or you can have a drink and a meal. Of course, you don't have to have an alcohol-based drink at all, you can have a soda or iced tea, of course. Don't forget your special cocktail party accessories! If you want to have a very romantic, easy going old world cocktail, then have a drink at the small bar located inside the restaurant of Cafe des Artistes. It's expensive but you won't be rushed, you won't be elbow to elbow with hordes of tourists, and you will enjoy your professional cocktail in a beautiful setting.

Oktoberfest-Zinzinnati, which began in 1976 as a block party, now draws over half a million. The festival's signature event, the World's Largest Kazoo Band and Chicken Dance is a sight to behold! August 2008 -A big slice of Wedding Cake given to Moyra Smith by the Royal Chef for Princess Diana and Prince Charles will go to auction on August 27 at the Dominic Winter Book Auctions in Glos, United Kingdom. The 27-year-old slice of wedding cake celebrated the ill fated marriage of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer in 1981. The wedding cake piece is decorated with the couple's Royal Coat of Arms.
