Where are the small boats in Central Park? - The small boats are referred to by several names. There are model toy boats, remote control boats and then just toy boats. The Conservatory Pond is your destination and it is on the far eastern side of the park at 74th Street. Enter from the east side entrance at East 72nd Street and walk down the hill northward. Most people bring their own boats, in fact, there is an entire culture that lives around Conservatory Pond. As a visitor, you might not see this in play, but most of the regulars know each other quite well.
