There was never ever anything too outrageous for this exciting performer. He was the best friend of feathers and Swarovski crystal. There wear a lot of outfits that he wore that must have been extremely uncomfortable.

| Take this costume with its extremely oversized headdress. While we are sure it was tacked on securely, a false move to the left or a funky wiggle to the right and down you go! For a period of time in the early 1980s, Elton was doing the suits and straw hat thing. The photo to the extreme left is an example from that period. Elton has since given up the extreme costumes. He auctioned off his costume collection as a fundraising effort for charity. He selected Sotheby's as the auction house. | |
