June 2008: New York City Central Park Hatha Yoga - Central Park offers Hatha Yoga classes in the North Meadow Recreation Center on Sunday afternoons. In 90-minute sessions, the instructor will lead the class through pranayama (breath), bringing awareness to the mind and body, then moves in to various standing and balancing asanas (poses) that further strengthen the mental-physical connection. Each class ends with a short relaxation to let the mind and body rest in total stillness. All levels are welcome, and mats are provided. Classes are just $10 per class for the 90-minute session, which is a great price for a 90 minute yoga session in the middle of Central Park!

Jimmy Choo Sunglasses Debut in 2008 - Fashion designer Jimmy Choo made a spectacular debut of their sunglasses line. The JJ sunglasses features a snake design which also carries over to the design treatment of the sandals. We look forward to what the fashion forward house will offer us in 2009! P.S. New York City Central Park Weddings - By far the most popular venue for wedding photography in Central Park is Conservatory Garden. This well manicured garden is located at 5th Avenue (Fifth Avenue) and 105th St. It is divided into three smaller gardens that each showcase their own character and charm. The Conservatory Garden features an extensive collection of flowers and shrubs that are in bloom from early spring to late fall. Wedding ceremonies and photography sessions require permits from the Central Park Conservancy. Permit fees go directly toward maintenance and horticulture in the Conservatory Garden.
