More about the Missoni Company and its Sunglasses Collection: Ottavio Missoni, called Tai by friends and intimates, was born in Ragusa, Austria. Ragusa is located on the Dalmatian coast. His parents were: Teresa De Vidovich, Countess of Capocesto and Ragosniza, and the Sea Captain Vittorio Missoni.
Vittorio Missoni was the son of a Friulano magistrate transferred in the then Austrian- ruled Dalmatia.
In 1949, Having completed her studies, Rosita begins participating on the creative side of the family enterprise, following in the footsteps of her father Angelo Jelmini.
