Pick your cooler tennis court under the lights at night! The resort features six tennis courts. Visitors pass the tennis courts on the way into the resort, not far from the guarded entry gate. The courts are somewhat well hidden behind shrubbery and plantings, so all but the most observant visitors, might not notice the on the way toward the Registration Desk.

Tennis Court Area features a Headquarters Hut

The tennis courts are served by a headquarters hut. Nice touch, Caribbean style, a grass roof, open sides hut. There is not much inside the headquarters "building." There is an easel with the day's schedule written on it for all to observe. There are couple of wooden relaxed rattan chairs, and Appalachian porch chairs. And there is shade, sweet shade in the cool of the hut.

Inside the tennis headquarters hut is a bench built right into one of the building's outside walls. Like we have seen elsewhere on this property, colorful pillows are used to provide color, comfort and just that bit of splash that Mexican resorts have become so well know for.

The tennis courts are lit for night playing. In Cancun, it is too hot to play in the sun for much of the year. So night time lighting of the courts is important for visitors who want to get their tennis time in while on vacation.

In addition to a deterrent like the heat of the sun, there are bugs in the air at some times of the year, but they go sleepy pie at night when it is cooler.

Of course, no set of lit tennis courts would be without proper room for the fans! The club happily obliges with a small lift of grandstands for the adoring tennis fans. After a couple of lessons from the club's tennis pro, who wouldn't want Mom & Dad to sit in the stands and watch their new serve.

The 27-year-old slice of wedding cake celebrated the ill fated marriage of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer in 1981. The wedding cake piece is decorated with the couple's Royal Coat of Arms.
