Photo to the Right: The furniture placed throughout the resort is very high quality. A lot of design care has been devoted to choosing sturdy but good looking pieces of wood furniture.

This is a picture of an admittedly lopsided cocktail table in the oceanfront pub Chispas. This pub is wide open to the elements, certainly the storms don't teem in, but in the wind off the ocean and the salt in the air, the exposed furniture is sure to take more of a beating than if it were placed in your living room.

This pub is located close by the sail boarding, windsurfing and catamaran instruction areas of the resort. A favorite pastime is having a cocktail, with or with alcohol like tequila, and watching the guests take their lessons.

Pictured above is a random oceanview veranda on the resort. It looks over the rocky part of the beach and is nearby the snorkeling reef. Each leg of the railing is lashed using natural bark. This use of natural materials is seen throughout the resort. The interior roof construction of several of the buildings including the nearby restaurant, Las Cazuelas is particularly spectacular.

The pair of chairs pictured to the left are made of rattan both seat, back, legs and arms. The pair here is right on the tennis courts of the resort. The club designers did not have to place such high quality chairs right on the hot tennis courts. But they did not spare the comfort or the decor and there they are.
